What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injections that can restore volume loss, reduce wrinkling and enhance facial features. The primary ingredient of most fillers is hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that attracts and retains moisture.
Levels of hyaluronic acid decrease in the body with age, resulting in sagging skin, thinner lips, sunken cheeks and the formation of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid fillers restore that moisture and can even add additional fullness, if you desire.
What Conditions Can You Treat With Fillers?
Anyone in good health who is dealing with facial volume loss or who wants to enhance their cheeks or lips can be a good candidate for fillers. Hyaluronic acid fillers can also address static wrinkles not caused by muscle movement.
Dermal fillers are effectively used to:
- Improve facial symmetry
- Lift and enhance cheekbones
- Reduce under-eye circles
- Rejuvenate the hands
- Smooth fine lines and wrinkles
- Smooth vertical lip lines and nasolabial folds
- Volumize the lips

Fillers We Offer
To address our clients’ individual needs, we offer a wide variety of dermal fillers from all the leading brands. Each is formulated to treat a specific concern or effectively sculpt specific areas of the face.
Juvederm
Juvederm fillers are best known for their liquid consistency. When injected, these products spread beneath the skin, smoothing out folds and wrinkles, before settling into their final shape. This property makes Juvederm well suited to areas of the face with wrinkles caused by muscle movement, such as around the mouth. The increased feathering and malleability allows for more natural expressions than firmer formulations.
Juvederm Ultra XC
Ultra XC treats mild-to-moderate parentheses lines, vertical lip lines or lipstick lines, and marionette lines. It can also be used as a lip filler, and lasts from 9–12 months.
Juvederm Ultra Plus XC
Slightly thicker than Ultra XC, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC treats moderate-to-severe wrinkles, nasolabial folds and volume loss. It’s also used for facial contouring and lip augmentation. Ultra Plus XC results remain visible for up to 12 months.
Juvederm Volbella XC
Volbella is specially formulated for natural-looking lip augmentation, as well as to correct lipstick lines. It lasts for up to 12 months.
Juvederm Vollure XC
Vollure XC is formulated for older skin with more pronounced wrinkles and folds. It lasts up to 18 months.
Juvederm Voluma XC
Voluma XC is specially designed to contour the cheeks, creating a fuller, more youthful appearance. It’s very long-lasting, with results remaining visible for up to 2 years.
Restylane
As the first hyaluronic acid filler to be FDA-approved for cosmetic use, Restylane is a highly trusted brand worldwide. Dense and highly malleable, Restylane’s formulas can restore lost volume and be sculpted into the look you desire.
Restylane (original formula)
Effective for moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, Restylane’s original formula is usually used to treat laugh lines and wrinkles around the lips and cheeks. It lasts for 6–18 months, depending on where it is injected.
Restylane Refyne
Refyne is specially formulated to maintain natural-looking movements and expressions. It softens mild-to-moderate nasolabial folds, lines around the mouth and marionette lines. Refyne lasts for up to 12 months.
Restylane Defyne
A step up from Restylane Refyne, Defyne targets deeper wrinkles and folds around the mouth while still maintaining a natural-looking appearance. It also lasts for up to 12 months.
Restylane Kysse
Restylane Kysse is formulated to restore lost volume in the lips. It creates soft, natural-looking results that last up to 12 months.
Restylane Silk
As the first filler specifically approved by the FDA for lip augmentation, Silk can enhance lips and soften lipstick lines around the mouth. It lasts for 6–12 months.
Restylane Lyft
Restylane Lyft treats volume loss both on the face and the backs of the hands. It’s effective for moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and can also be used to enhance the cheeks. Results last from 6–12 months.
Radiesse
Radiesse differs from our other fillers in that the primary ingredient is calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) in the form of gel microspheres. In the short term, these microspheres add the volume you’re looking for. But as time goes on, they also stimulate collagen production, helping your skin create its own natural fullness. Due to this double action, Radiesse is exceptionally long-lasting, with results possibly remaining visible for up to 2 years.
Belotero Balance
Belotero Balance is a hyaluronic acid filler specially formulated to integrate with your skin’s tissue, creating natural-looking results. It smooths and fills in moderate-to-severe nasolabial folds and other deep lines and wrinkles around the lips and mouth.

Dermal Fillers FAQ
What are the risks of fillers?
Fillers are considered very safe, especially when performed by a board-certified and experienced professional. Possible risks include asymmetrical results, bleeding, bruising, infection, skin rash and swelling. Severe complications from fillers are very rare.
Does getting fillers hurt?
The amount of pain you feel during treatment depends largely on your pain tolerance. If you wish, we can apply a topical numbing cream before your injections. Additionally, some of our products contain lidocaine, a numbing agent. We’ll also ice the area immediately after your treatment to reduce pain and swelling.
Is there any downtime?
Recovery from dermal fillers is minimal. For 6 hours after your appointment, avoid touching the treated area. For a week after treatment, avoid NSAIDs, aspirin, St John’s wort and vitamin E supplements, as well as exposure to extreme temperatures.
How long do fillers last?
Fillers can last anywhere from 6 months up to 2 years. Fillers injected where the muscles frequently move, such as around the mouth, tend to be reabsorbed by the body more quickly than those placed in relatively immobile areas.
How old do I have to be to get fillers?
Dermal fillers, including lip enhancements, are approved for people aged 21 and up.
